Tactics - Buff w/ shared spells, including Enlarge Person, and charge things

Background:
Dallyar was destined, chosen to be a defender since long before he was born. His father, a skilled warrior priest of Corellon Larethian, renowned in combat, a true hero of the realm... and his mother, a powerful sorceress, who deftly wielded ancient spells and whose prowess with enchantments was the envy of wizards far and wide. The two had been chosen, in their third century, to be wed; their firstborn son was to be a Defender. The marriage, the years the followed, all took place under the watchful eyes of priests and wizards of the elven wood, ensuring that the child of their union would fulfill his destiny.
Before he could walk, Dallyar was able to conjure simple cantrips; as a toddler, his toys were mithril. As soon as he could ride, the gifted youth was bonded to an ensorcelled steed, a thoroughbred whose lineage could be traced back for a thousand years--Elyssa, moonbeam, the fastest horse of this Age.
Together, the elf and his steed grew, bonded, familiar, and as the elf aged, and grew stronger in both the arcane arts and swordsmanship, he learned of his calling, of his sacred vows, and his eternal bond to the elven wood and his god, Corellon Larethian.
...a darkness was growing. In the bowels of the vast metropolis, Gladius, it was taking root. And Dallyar was sent to seek it out, and stop it. To defend the elven wood, he had to leave it, and travel to a distant land. And so he did.

Dallyar is my attempt to create a true "gish," able to fight decently with weapons but to boost himself with spells. The simple sorceror is there to share spells with his mount, allowing the potential for enlarged person--> charge. The AC is a little low, but the combination of buffs and riding for cover should make that doable. We'll see how he plays out...
