A Formal post about upcoming pairings:
It is going to be a tight week this coming pairings. We are going to be a little short on Pitlords (I'm not going to do 3 fights again), and most of our filler characters (Uknits/Telin) are going to be off the list.
I have a couple of things as we are a few days away, so let me just ask/mention them here:
1) @Uknits: Only set ready the characters that you really want to activate, take this time to have fun, not run a character just to meet an ECL requirement.
2) Also @Uknits: I need the Character Roster unlocked so I can make a couple edits if needed.
3) @All: If you have ever thought about pitlording this would be the week to do it. I promise to give you an easy fight to the best of my ability.
4) @All: Set your titles right really well this week as I'll have to keep my eye open for Level ups
5) @All: I may not be able to pair every character so if you are planning on activating a character, you might scan the same ECL and see if anyone else in that ECL is activating (or just ask ... see Ephraim vs Han)
My current list of Pitlords for next week is: Myself (1), Dgallaty (1), ManoftheSea (1). It will be very tight for about 2-3 weeks around here.

Man, lots of stuff happens around here when I can only check every couple of days.
For Telin, he had requested 1 or two characters active a week. I agree, though, that we should deactivate him until he posts to the contrary as he has been non-responsive.
As for my filler characters, most of them aren't even updated as I haven't had the time lately, so go ahead and assume any ready if needed is not ready. I'll have some spotty internet this coming week, anyway, so I may not be able to activate any. I know I can't activate for the week fo the 6th and the 13th, so I want to activate this week, but no promises.
As for pitlording, I really wish I could, but with the my wedding in 12 days and working full time, I know I can't. I'll go ahead and unlock the character roster, though.
As for Griffon vs. Poggle, looks good at a glance. It is pretty much what I figured would happen, but it is worth noting you cannot ready a charge as that is a full round action. I really had no hope in that pairing short of Eluria doing somthing foolish, and Eluria is usually pretty smart about tactics.

Ok, the character roster is unlocked. Also, credits are up to date through this week, including the complete rewrite of this week's pairings. If you want to deal with credits, let me know, if not, I can easily update them when I get back.

Thanks for the run 'Rith (and the kind words, Uk - have been gone a while, tactical errors certainly quite possible  Rith - just don't worry about my characters this week. I have none listed as "ready for X" and I don't think I have any "ready if needed." Just don't pair me. Hopefully we'll get through next 2 slow weeks and then we may even take off a little, with Yitzi back and if I can start activating and pitlording more, and after Uknits' wedding. Congratulations Uk and Ms. Uk!

Looking at the fight a litle closer, why did Griffon stand in the light? Given my want to stay hiden and the specific direction to move to the point 50' away, him standing in the light seems like an illogical thing. It also doesn't ake sense with ym desire to stay away from the central area. I don't think it would make a difference, but just pointing that out. Also, Poggle's movment does not account for her low manueverability. This is noticable in rounds 5 and 6, when Pogle makes a 90 degree turn. With poor manueverability, she could only make a 45 degree turn with 5 feet of movment, meaning that she would end up hitting a wall and interupting her turn. Also, in round 9 and 10, she makes full 180 degree turns.

No problem. I doubt they'll make a difference, I just was poitning them out for if you have the time. I realize that running 3 fights in a week is no light matter.

This is shaping up to be another busy week for me and I'm away again later so I'm not sure I will be activating anyone (might take the chance to do some crafting or something) but actually I should be able to run a fight before next Wednesday. I do still have hold-over from last week though which I will endeavor to get done sooner rather than later... I hate not getting fights donbe on time, I just overestimated how much time I had last week... :-\
But yeah, you can put me down for running one if necessary, all going well, and since I might not even be activating hopefully it won't be too busy.
Should be back in full force next week!

OK, just read Absalar vs Xiv. One minor comment - I think Absalar could have had Listen rolls to hear Xiv's casting at the start, though it's not likely to have made that much difference. One slightly larger comment - I don't think you can share touch attack spells with one's familiar in that way. A familiar can deliver a held charge for you, but it's then discharged if used, so in R12, Xiv shouldn't have any Shocking Grasp left. He could have simply used another charge of his wand (though I don't think his tactics called for that) but then he'd have two charges used, not one. I also need to remember that Absalar's dogs can't trip. He needs a riding dog...
