I'm a little disappointed to surrender after knocking off 34 hp and not being hurt - Poggle does have default tactics, for exactly this - to refer to if tactics are unclear/unavailable. Pretty much all my characters have some default tactics so they don't surrender.
"Dodge main foe, buff with defensive spells, ride for cover, kill from range slowly with wands first then bow. Giggle."
If you're willing to play it out with the rest of the items at Poggle's disposal, I'd appreciate it - if not, no biggy

I would agree it looks more than a bit hopeless. You went with the sword ... you could add in the longbow for a try as well.
Also I think Poggle gets an AoO for the disarm attempt on the sword.

Does Poggle threaten? As a tiny creature, her reach is 0. I know you'd think she can stab the hand that reaches in, but...

Now that I've had a chance to read Poggle vs. Geth, I wouild like to comment that Geth doesn't threaten Poggle because of the height, and also, using a wand doesn't provoke anyway. That said, I would agree with Eluria that Poggle has several backup weapons, and not using at least the bow seems odd.

Doesn't the glaive have 10' reach? If Geth is average elf height, that should threaten Poggle at 15'.
