Calling upon his reserves of rage, Gart'ak does what he does best; smashing creatures of good. Or vengance. Or maybe petty grudges? Regardless, Gart'ak knew he was good at smahsing anything that breathed, and he swung in with a mighty blow.
Unfortunatly, ghosts DON'T breath. What would have been a flawless strike against a mortal was waisted on the shimmering form of the ghost. It was still a solid hit, but a solid hit against a not so solid object.... basically Gart'ak's blade went kareening through the air. A pair of wolves come around the corner, watching this display of mighty futility, and Gart'ak's advanced knowledge of animal emotion makes him think they are even laughing at him.
Distarcted by this insult, the unicorn lands another blow on Gart'ak, doing 5 more damage (17 damage total).

Gart'ak lets out a cry of rage, swing his falchion in with blind rage and a smidge of prayer. He opens his eyes to see a unicorn with a large portion of his face missing, and shimmering, silver blood is everywhere. The thig is still standing... err... floating, but not by much.
The creature pokes in, but the part of his horn he is trying to use fall off as he stabs, and the creature neighs in annoyance. Gart'ak notices the two wolves seem to have very abruptley stopped laughing.

Woo, yay for long shots.
Gart'ak cracks a thin smile to see the creature nearly dead. "Like that taste of my steel, well have another." Gart'ak take another, lighter blow.
And round we go again, swing without power attack but with all the bonuses to hit.

Gart'ak swings, focusing his rage into a single, clean blow, but he is way off balance from his last swing and misses by a lot.The unicorn then pokes back, doing 2 more damage.

You miss again and it pokes for another 1 damage. Do you want to just keep swinging until something notable happens?
