Fortunatley for you, though, it doesn't affect ECL 3 or 4 fights. I'm annoyed that Dreath was activated last week and got to miss out on it for his favourable 120' of darkvision.

I don't mind seperate thread for a caster vs. caster fight, but I don't mind tactics either if that is easier for Ytzi.
Also, for Gart'ak, when I updated Geth Ryn, I forgot to note he is on fight 3, not 2, and he is down to 1 PP. It shoulodn't make a difference; he still has rage left, but just in case.

Uknits - is Urdwed meant to be fighting Delilah? She appears to be L6, though she's still listed under ECL 5.
I mean, pfff, yeah, I could take her... it just wouldn't be fair for her, given how much PR she'd lose. That's totally it.

Well, casters are the kind of people Urdwed likes to fight (casters without Magic Missile, that is). His Touch AC and good saves (despite LA) are the best things he has going for him. Those Summon Monsters would likely rip the poor dogs apart, though.

By the way, if the thread for the ECL8 fight can be up sometime soon so we could post our initial stuff, it would probably be a good idea.
No worries. I mean to do it last night, actually, but I've been slapped with another week where all the deadlines line up and I've not even been thinking straight. It's up now, anyway, and I'll send my tactics in ASAP.

Man, Urdwed vs La-Ura is going to be great fun (though perhaps not for the pitlord... Pitch Black lighting is a damn pain). I'm going to have almost as much trouble hitting her as she will me, I think, but it's going to be an interesting one nontheless.
Cries vs Siel could go either way. As usual with PsyWars, I feel as though having 10 rounds to buff (and buffs which didn't run out in 10 rounds) would make me invincible, but as it is I'm likely to regret not using something.

Huh, yeah, I thought for some reason that Darkvision wouldn't work in pitch black but it appears it does. OK well that makes things a tad easier, then.

If Cries were able to have all his buffs active at once, well that'd be +1 AB (and a further +1 with one claw), +2 damage (and again a further +1 with one claw), +4+1+1=+6 AC, 2/- DR, 5 temp HP, and a 15ft movement speed. That's the thing with PsyWars, they get lots of little stacking buffs. There problem is that it's just not feasible to use all of them - as much as anything, the first thing will run out before I've used the last.
I fancy it's going to be a far more evenly-pitched match; it'll be interesting, anyway.

Bilgly vs Erith is up. I had Bilgly hold back on using Psionic Shot until he'd cleared out the illusions. As usual, let me know if there's anything that needs changing.

Thanks for the run...that crit was really what did it. (I think I mean to say to use psi shot even if there were illusions up, but since I didn't say it, you made a reasonable call.)

Beezel vs Dreath is up. Sorry Dgallaty there weren't any tactics for losing the dorje so I just had him fire energy rays. Hope you weren't saving those PP for another fight

For Bilgly vs. Erith, thanks for that crit. An irrelivant note, but I can continue bard song while attacking, as long as I don't cast any spells.
For Dreath vs. Beezel... 1 thing of note is that for disarm, I get to use my dex because I was using my unarmed strike with weapon finnesse, so I should have had a +13 instead of +10. This would result in my using my spiked chain on him a round earlier, which would also put him in my threatened area. Secondly, energy ray requires a touch attack. With a touch AC of 18, he has a decent chance of missing that shot.
Thanks for the runs.

That was perfect improvisation, thanks!
If you have time, take Uknit's comments into consideration, but also consider that Beezel always Tumbles out of melee (it's in his tactics), so hopefully that actually puts him out of the threat range for the spiked chain.

Updated the Beezel vs Dreath. Dreath misses with his trip attack, and Beezel hits with his energy ray, so the outcome is the same. I think when I rolled Spell Penetration for Energy Ray I was like "well, that's a d20" and forgot about the to-hit roll.
Sorry about the bard song thing. I'll keep that in mind next time I run a bard fight.

Thanks for the run Dgallaty; I guess I knew grappling would be the thing to watch out for (I could have done with a potion of Shield of Faith). Only thing I'm not sure of is that when I spotted her, I should have moved away from her, not towards her.
It probably wouldn't have mattered anyway I guess with those rolls since even having OP up wouldn't have done enough damage - the only unlikely chance would be if she charged me, thus getting only one attack and allowing me to live long enough to kill her the next round - but I'd have to do 12 damage for that.
One other thing is that Siel was flurrying, so she should have had a -2 to her initial touch and to her later grapple checks. It would still have been 21 vs tAC 17, mind.

Yeah, I put in a note at the bottom of that post stating that I forgot the penalty from Flurry of Blows, but as you pointed out, it didn't make a difference.

@The_Fred: could you post the Fight Summary for Kaili vs the vrocks in the Battles of Gladius thread? I think the items and powers used is as follows:Items: 4 charges dorje of Enlarged Crystal ShardSpells or Powerpoints Used: Defensive Precognition (
It's looking like I'm not going to have Gart'ak vs Geth done in time for pairings - I had meant to do it today but other things took longer than I expected. I'd do it now but it's getting late here and I've an early start tomorrow - hopefully it should be done by tomorrow afternoon.

I'm back to my normal schedule, so Kinslayer, Krug, and Nathas will all be active this week and I'm available to pitlord fights as normal-- sorry for not being around much the past month or so.
