Uknits - one minor point about Ellia vs Jaob. Shouldn't Ellia have had to make CL checks to use her wand? It's CL 5, and she's a L3 Wizard. She's unlikely to fail it, but if she did it'd give Jaob a chance to get Blindness off (which, of course, she might save against... but she might not).

Actually, wands don't require any CL. As long as it is on your list, it doesn't matter, hence why a 1st level ranger can use resist energy wand.

Huh, it looks like that is indeed the case. OK, in that case...
Dgallaty, it looks like Kaleisa made CL checks in Kaleisa vs Krug! This doesn't really make a difference I guess, but it would save her a charge (and actually, I'm not sure failing the CL check would use up the item anyway, only prevent you from using it).

How does it work for scrolls regarding item consumption and CL checks? Do they get used up, or do you just simply fail to use the scroll?

I was under the impression that if you failed the CL check, you just couldn't use the item, so it didn't get used up... that's more UMD, though. Re-reading it, it's not clear, but I feel as though using up on a failed CL check does make sense (but not on a failed UMD check).

Elrin and Beezel are just so stealthy... this fight could take a while.

Sorry. On the plus side, 10 round delay penalties are beautiful things.
Also, I think scrolls are used up when you have a mishap, but not just by failing a CL check.

True, but you are both searching for each other atm. Clockwise. Both clockwise.
Had to go out and then the day basically ran away with me so I'll try and finish it tomorrow. Man, time is just slipping away right now...

Even if they are seeking, the delay penalty can kick in. The delay doesn't have to be intentional.

Also, given that they're both looking for each other, perhaps the penalty would just be the audience shouting which way they should go to find each other. It would make sense, and make things easier for you too.
