I'm still getting used to dgallaty's new pairer. One of the features he's added is "As Needed" for both pitlords and characters. This results in the following: 1. If you are listed as an "As Needed" pitlord (like me) - you get 0 minimum fights and up to 10 additional ones if needed. This feature is fine with me - just be aware that it is what you will get if you tell me so  2. If you list your character "As needed" you will step in (randomly) when a pairing is looking for an opponent. 2a. The pairer only looks at characters edited in the last 90 days. So if you added that tag earlier than that - I will never pair the character 2b. The pairer randomly takes these characters - so sometimes it might take more characters than you intend. Do you want a maximum number of active characters for a given week? Alternatively, update your characters so that you don't exceed them. 3. Since the pairer has a ready-crawler built in, I no longer need to update the character roster to note who is active/not active. However, if people like having this - I have no problem updating it accordingly. What do you think? dgallaty

Since this is only a minor point, I didn't bother sending a PM.
During the ready crawling - it looks like it doesn't give an owner to anyone whose name doesn't appear in the URL. Would it be possible to use the name of the one who last modified it? Not a huge deal - but it would save me a little time since not everyone puts their name in the url.
A nice to have that I don't currently have is the ability to either exclude results that were paired in the past at the current EL or to manually adjust it. This will occasionally necessitate adding a second fight at a particular EL if I do it manually - but I don't have the ability on Step 3 to add a fight to the list before clicking the save button.
Let me know if there are any other snafus. I am still getting used to the interface and it will probably be a few more weeks before I am truly comfortable with it.

query re: monster fight info PMd to Telin tactics sent for Xiv - not super thrilled about how that will likely go tactics sent for Poggle - definitely not thrilled about that ... Poggle briefly considers "forgetting" she's paired this week and instead spending the day plucking flowers in the Forest... but then thinks better of it and decides to re-meet Bernik. Qwuibbik's tactics will wait for monster info

Sorry, I didn't get chance to finish the last round of edits on The Bully vs Al'tiar (I forgot Al'tiar's tactics said at the bottom to use a second Ray of Enfeeblement). If that misses I don't think there will be any difference, and if it hits it shouldn't be enough to stop the grapple (I don't think) but it would mean the Bully did less damage, giving Al'tiar another round or two. So, I guess that should be a hold-over for edits - I'll fix it before I run the others.
BTW, auto-pairer sounds cool. It is sensitive to whether you say e.g. "if needed" rather than "as needed" or whatever?

Vathilia is up against a Large Winged Outsider of unclear body shape; while its type has changed to outsider, it is very hard to give appropriate knowledge description, so I will also note that it appears to have originated from the Vegetable kingdom. Appreciate Telin's support that this is a tougher to identify/describe monster, alleviating my guilt at likely giving it away

Hmm, OK, so instead of "Ready if needed 01/08/2012" I should put "Ready as needed 1/8/12"?
Sorry in advance for these tactics, btw. Grannick has such low saves, but does a lot of damage and has a lot of health! That damnable tattoo is going to make Brain Locking a pain as well.
