Yitzi - I only meant that there would be situations that you would need a Spot check to see things even if you had had LoS to them. Clearly this isn't one of those situations, but I think in my mind I just associated your 60ft Darkvision with being a 60ft range of vision full stop.
Uknits, I saw Jaob vs Mobius. Thanks for the run. I had intended to use my focus even on something like Resist Energy, but I guess that wasn't clear, and using it for SMI was the priority. Besides, I didn't expect him to use Electricity, I don't know why.

Thanks for the run Uknits -- and well played, insane Jaob. Well played indeed.

Thanks for the run Uknits. I knew Harrod didn't have much chance.

Clearly; the most obvious is certain oozes, but as a DM (but not pitlord, as the Core Coliseum needs consistency) I would use that line to extend it to many cases, including not autospotting a flatfooted enemy (in such cases, though, the spot DC would be fixed rather than dependent on the target's hide check.)
but I think in my mind I just associated your 60ft Darkvision with being a 60ft range of vision full stop.
That makes sense; it's a natural error to make, as in a pitch black scenario it would be correct.

RE Ven vs Bilgly, I had meant to go back over it today, before pairings, but I'm afraid I've been working late and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to squeeze it in, given it might be a bit more than a quick fix.

Yitzi- can you pm me the tactics? Will have some time late tonight
My time turned out to be pre-tactic-receipt, so did not get to run this yesterday (obv) and rec'd holdover; I can do it for next weeks' pairings (or if Yitzi wants to, of course feel free) srry couldn't get 'er done!

I'm ok with you doing it and giving me a different fight next week, or me taking it; either is ok. As for the delay in fixing Bilgly's fight...it happens. As long as it gets fixed next week...

Okay - so Bilgly's fight is a holdover for edits?
Running pairings now - though none of my kids are asleep yet - so it might take a while.
