No she wouldn't have; Bernik would have sat and healed until Amalia was out of PP and done the same thing. At least Ven was injured; a poor roll could have killed him.

Bernik has a lot of HP and I had no real way of knowing how much he had left. I'd actually planned on switching sides again pretty much the round that crit happened. As Uknits says, I couldn't really have damaged you enough to be sure you couldn't just heal; my best bet would have been a lucky Mind Thrust with the few PP I had left. No, I think the mistakes I made with Amalia had already been made; by this point her chances of winning were already pretty slim whichever way she played it. Still, it was fun. Maybe we should try a big melee with a load of ECL 3 characters some time.

OK, I've started to fix the Hunter's fight from last week. Since he hits on a 9, I think (Archons have tAC 10 + 2 Magic Circle + 4 Mage Armour + 2 Cat's Grace = 18, Hunter has +8 +1 Higher Ground), he manages to Str drain the Archon enough that he doesn't get killed by Round 14 (final attack misses, and previous ones do much less damage), and it's not looking great for the Archon. That said, there's a second Archon to fight, so it may still go the same way in the end; I'll finish it later.

The Hunter's fight is fixed. He managed to do a good amount of Str damage to the second Archon early on, which even if the Archon hadn't made rather worse rolls than his ally, pretty much hammered his chances. Long story short - Str drain won the day.

I seem to have come down with a cold, and on top of that today was busier than expected; I think I can still run my fights if needed, but if someone can take one of them from me that would probably be better.

oh no; feel better Yitzi! I will try to finish my fight today; if so, I should be able to help out -- but depends on how today goes, this week is very busy.

Hate to say this, but Tattoos do not threaten as fine creatures, so casting doesn't provoke.

Actually, that is not true. A fine creature has no natural reach and therefore does not threaten the squares around it (since it cannot make a melee attack into them), but it does threaten the square it can attack into (its own) as normal. The tattoo was already in the square (it had to be, in order to attack beforehand), and therefore threatened.

Looking closer, there are 2 issues. Mainly, in round 10, Erith could have 5' shifted and swung in the same round. This is important when you consider point 2.
My damages were off. My bow should have been +4 to damage from singing and my sword should have also as it would be wielded in 2 hands, not 1. This leaves him at 5 at the end.
The only other point is that my healing should have been +3, but that doesn't affect the fight. Also, I'm unsure of when entangling ectoplasm should have worn off, since it activated on my turn, should it have worn off on my turn? If so, that attack against me would have missed.
Sorry to bring up all of these points; I know you're busy. Thanks for running.
