Right - attack and defense packages are not in play here.
Farig and the aranea Show Let's start adjacent to each other in the starting area near the middle. Farig starts off mounted on Whirlwind with flail in hand and locked. The aranea has a potion of cat's grace in hand.
Round 1 - Aranea casts mage armor on herself and draws a wand of resist energy (CL2) Round 2 - Aranea uses the wand for acid on Farig Round 3 - Aranea uses the wand for acid on herself Round 4 - Aranea casts protection from evil on Farig Round 5 - Aranea casts protection from evil on herself. Round 6 - Aranea drinks the potion, draws a wand of shield (CL2) Round 7 - Aranea uses the wand and stows it. Round 8 - Aranea draws and drinks a potion of magic fang (CL2) Round 9 - Aranea draws the wand of magic missile (CL3) Round 10 - Aranea casts shocking grasp and holds the charge on her bite. They will stay close to each other and move out while buffing, but will not cross the river until all buffing is done. If Farig has a free action (which should be most rounds since she can move more than the aranea is), she will use active spot/listen. Both will attempt to jump the river (with 20ft of lead space obv) once buffing is complete and then continue searching.

Eluria: Spoiler: Show You can't use Touchsight, as it's not on your class list. It's also 25' to the nearest underbrush, so you'll have to move full speed that one time to even reach it and can't move further into it before "move out". Assuming you just want to remove Touchsight (tell me otherwise): You move and manifest Chameleon and energy adaptation, drink the antitoxin, and apply poison to the arrow. You then draw the dorje of vigor, use the shoes and begin moving out...to be continued once you confirm to just remove Touchsight. ![]() Buffs: Chameleon (ends long), electric adaptation (ends long), antitoxin, regular arrow poisoned, bane arrow dissolving, expeditious retreat (ends 16). I don't know how to move posts, although I think I am able to, so don't want to mess it up and risk losing this

Oops sorry - Psicrystal active listen check hasn't heard anything? Then yes, if they haven't been detected, go ahead and use 1pp Offensive Precog, and move out. Ideally staying towards the underbrush when moving out, but generally can follow the road towards the next starting area - trying to engage at this point.

I would like to find them, but assume they're both invisible at this point. With 60' stream yes please jump stream. I'm fine double moving, but would like psicrystal to try to listen for them, b/c as soon as they're detected obviously it'd be nice to shoot first. Basically seek them out until detected. Ideally staying where conceal/cover, as would like to be hidden, but I am aware that there's a delay penalty that should be imminent.

Okay - not sure who is moving first, but I think you said my spider friend is. If not - Farig will delay. The aranea will move to (17,8) and cast a web over the location of where Ghost is located. Regardless of its success, Farig double moves to (14,11)

Do I know for sure that Ghost is still there? Also - did you account for cat's grace in the attack? (it misses regardless - but was a lot closer than the roller indicates I believe)
If he is there for sure, the aranea moves adjacent to Ghost to (13,9) and throws another web. -4 for throwing into a melee and does provoke. Farig will then full attack - trip, if successful, disarm anything in hand (repeat until nothing in hand, then attack for damage. If I don't know whether he is there, the aranea will move and bite the location instead.

This is quite important, but I think you have Ghost 5' south from where I wanted him, precisely so not pinned against the tree - Ghost looks to be 105' south from where he had been, not 100', and it does make a difference - b/c if Ghost is 5' further north, he can step 5' west and avoid AoO, which is basically the entire fight - if disarmed, I lose; if I can shoot, I have a fair chance. If you could correct the position, I'd appreciate it. I do think that 5' is fight altering, and I did say 100' not 105' ... If can't correct position, please let me know, as currently it does not look like I can 5' step diagonally NW out of range and be able to shoot without provoking - if I can, please 5' step out of range and attack Farig as noted (seeking enchantment negates miss chance) - with Manyshot + 1 focus (from psicrystal) for fellshot and fire both poisoned arrows at him However, as I don't think I can 5' step NW around the tree, and if I attack while in range he's definitely disarming me and basically ending the fight, I have to try to be a little creative Psicrystal uses 20' climb speed to go up 30' (double moves/withdraws up) into the canopy. Then Ghost uses Dimension Swap (manifest defensively, expend Ghost's focus to do so) and switches places with Psicrystal, so Ghost is 30' up from current position, in canopy, focus expended, and psicrystal is below. If for some reason Farig uses his AoO vs. the psicrystal's movement, then that means Ghost can fire at will, and will 5' step north and shoot as noted. Shoot; while that may have worked, I am short pp (since can't draw from cog crystal and memory at same time). Darn it. I am really wishing I had those ranks in Tumble I keep postponing. To move things along: --I would prefer Ghost was where I expected, 5' further north; if so, can 5' west and attack Farig with Manyshot + 1 focus (from psicrystal) for fellshot and fire both poisoned arrows at him --If Ghost is not moved, then there's not much left beyond just 5' north and fire Manyshot + 1 focus (from psicrystal) for fellshot and fire both poisoned arrows at Farig and hope he magically fails to disarm me.

As for your question, he still is there after the web. Eluria: Spoiler: Show I did move you 100', but Ghost must have slipped 5' south first; it was clearly my mistake, so I'm adjusting it (and letting TelinArtho reposition Farig accordingly.) I presume you will still want to attack Farig?

Thanks Yitzi, I appreciate it Yes, Ghost would 5' step away to prevent AoO and fire at Farig w/ Manyshot, 1 focus (from psicrystal) for fellshot, and shoot the 2 poisoned arrows (the prebuffed poisoned one and the one poisoned this fight) at Farig, and hope that he fails one of the two saves... Since once disarm basically ends things!

Well then, you're right - no 5' steps, means either move (and draw AoO) or shoot (and draw AoO); will just have to hope concealment miss chance protects me, which basically feels like "80% chance Farig disarms you" is coming up ![]() since there's no way of avoiding the AoO (I don't suppose Ghost is secretly hidden/total concealed at this point), just shoot him as noted, and depending on results of that will declare move action ... if Farig is down, prob regain focus; if Farig is up, will want to move out to beyond undergrowth, as I totally forgot it prevented 5' steps.

Ahh, missed that - thought "revealed" was not just shown on map, but as-if seen, etc. That helped, definitely. Nice rolls, as well. Will use move action to regain psionic focus after shooting Farig (manyshot is std action)

I suppose that was 2 poison saves from 2 different arrows? I guess that answers what he used burglary on... Grr.
Farig should have a 50% check to determine if she stays in the saddle. If she falls, she'll take damage, but will fall on a random side (which will hopefully not be the side where Ghost is). Okay - assuming Ghost has no melee weapon in hand, the aranea will move up to the south east of Ghost and throw a web over him (provokes, but he shouldn't be threatening then). If he provokes by trying to CDG or otherwise, bite for damage with shocking grasp as an rider effect. EDIT - not that it will matter too much, but Whirlwind does have the defend trick - so should be attacking until Farig is killed off.
After Ghost attacks Farig, he regains focus, ignoring a wild kick from Whirlwind (who still has Farig on his back). T'cha'kl T'zk'l moves up and throws another web at Ghost, but the assassin dodges again.

Okay - I started reading the spoilers and I see a bit of an issue - though this is likely an error on the sheet and ultimately wouldn't have changed anything in my tactics.
I am certainly not complaining about the ridiculously imbalanced rolls. Re: poison confusion, I see; I'm really sorry it's not in the F2 fight summary, definitely confusing - it was definitely pre-buffed fight 2 and marked off in "used items," and can see it both in the prebuffs here as you say, and on the character sheet history here: community.wizards.com/coco/wiki/Eluria/G...
definitely an error not to have it in the F2 fight summary though -- I will try to check those more carefully, he just uses so many items each fight. @Yitzi - did you want Ghost to kill Farig? can I just CdG from adjacent right now, without drawing AoO b/c of concealment?
yes just go ahead and try to kill farig.
cdg this round; if fails move out from underbrush and re-cdg for sneak attack dmg. continue until he's dead or has only 2 rounds left before next save (I really hope it doesn't ever matter, but I think the initial damage to Farig was off slightly, b/c each arrow does 1d8+1, +1 divine favor, +1 PBS, so maybe 4 extra damage?)
