Hey Vath, I see you rolling.  Just want to remind you that shadows get +2 Turn resistance.  With a roll of 2 for level, Quibbik can only do 5 HD and I am considered 7 for turning.

Gah.
How have they fought twice and Qwuib's rolls are 1, 2.  Next time he's due for a 3.  Eventually, you will be rebuked.

All my tactics are away, and I think received too.
I will try to run fights tonight (last night didn't happen, sorry).

Good luck all!

Kyra is looking for a miniquestlord for next week to quest for Warmind stuff; Uknits, if you want to resume where she last failed, I'm game, otherwise I'm happy for anyone and anything (as long as they don't bring Telin's monsterdice)

I'm game for mini-questing Kyra.

Quwibbik has death ward?  How did I miss that?  I guess the ogres are gonna have to go as the can't hurt Quwibbik clause of my tactics.  Sincerely sorry about that, Eluria.

I have spare ogre magi, as long as this time Qwuibbik wins, I can live with it.  Although as a worshipper of The Beyond, the Hunter is a beautiful creature and Qwuib will bemoan his destruction.  But, have no fear, hopefully I'll preserve a bit in some embalming jar.

Maybe they can ally against some ECL10 baddie next week

Hunter vs Qwuibbik is (probably) finished.

That is one lucky Ogre Skeleton.

How is that ogre getting +14?  Also, what's with those rolls?

Also, The Hunter should have rolled some tumble check I'm thinking to avoid AoO's.

Finally, can the ogre who can't hurt me flank me?

Flanking

When making a melee attack, you get a +2 flanking bonus if your opponent is threatened by a character or creature friendly to you on the opponent’s opposite border or opposite corner.

As far as I know, the ogre is still threatening Hunter.  It just has no possible way of doing damage.

The Ogre attack bonus is way off.  I think I clicked the rolls for Qwuib's touch attack (12+aid+divine).  It should be 7+flanking.  I'll go fix that.

For tumble, I think I interpreted the tactics too literally, and did not see tumble on the sheet.

Goal is to touch Quwibbik to death. Ignore ogres and summons.

Additionally, tumble would mean the Ogres get more attacks, since Hunter would move half speed.

True about tumble, I need to be more specific in the future.

As for flanking, from RAW that makes sense.

Thanks for the repeated fixings.

The flanking is a bit wierd.  I'm thinking that even if having a sword in your head doesn't hurt, it's still a distraction.

Rolls:

one attack is still a hit in round 27.

both attacks are still miss on round 28.

first attack misses in round 29, but second attack still hits.

Also, seems there is an extra attack roll at round 27, which is a miss.

I could edit in the tumbles and add in the phantom roll at round 27.  Looks to me that it only delays the inevitable (Ogres still get two attacks each time you come out).  Your call.  I have open time today.
