Move to 70ft away, still setting for a charge, and hope it single moves closer again.

If it does, charge next turn, then ride-by over 60ft. away. If it doesn't, charge anyway, but only ride-by 10ft.

Bah ... post gremlins:

Short version: Desmen heals to full, rides by on a spirited charge hitting (atk: 25 dmg: 27). Critter took a swipe at Pine. The critter moves to cover.

Desmen is up. Critter is there, but Desmen doesn't know that.

Alright, since it's actually taken some other damage, hopefully arrows can finish this before my non-scroll buffs run out.

Stow the lance, draw the bow, and move to stay away from the crystal at a maximum range increment, but trying to keep it in sight(so I'm moving around the east side of the rock). Rapid Shot when able, single when I can't. Don't Rapid Shot if I'm taking an attack penalty for movement. When Divine Favor runs out, rebuff it, then keep shooting.

Going to have to run this Wednesday afternoon (PST) ... buried at work. Just a matter of seeing if you kill it before you run out of arrows.

Works for me. Thankfully, Desmen's not as much of a pain to update as Julgi.

Apparently I forgot to say 2 things in that tactic, though. When the buffs run out, Desmen'll switch to single shots, and I forgot she still has that poisoned arrow...don't use it. >.>

Sorry for the long series of rolls this will probably produce.

Alright speed rolling conventions:
- Mapper is off unless you run out of arrows.
- Critter is hiding in the pillars till you come out.
- In order to circle around and keep some range you get one shot every two rounds in order to break cover.
- Divine Favor expires round 11
- It is now bottom of round 6
- shots on even rounds, will recast Divine Favor in round 11 and extend to round 21
- Desmen has 75 arrows (+1 poisoned arrow, which shouldn't be used)
- Desmen will never trigger his rapid shot due to the large quantity of movement. (all single shots)
- I could be a punk but I don't want to play the whack a mole game (the critter has burrow)

rolling ... results posted soon.
