Some thief Felan is - this is the second ambush that has been successful against him...
Anyway, start off at the back center of the starting area with bow in hand and shield equipped. Move out and ready attacks on sight. Start with poisoned arrows as long as Ghost doesn't have cover.
Goal: Move to 36,17 and ready to attack on sight. Make noise from there until engaged.
Once engaged shoot until Ghost is dead or unconscious from poison.
That's pretty much it - have fun running the fight.
Thanks for pitlording. Potentially 2 sneaks, huh... and me with only 4 hours of sleep. I think we're similar, and similarly matched... although I think ranged combat favors Ghost (with rapid shot and psionic shot), so I fear an expansion grapple or an invisibility-->melee... and I'm bemoaning my lack of antitoxin!
I believe Ghost successfully Ambushes Felan: I will start in 1, he can start in 4, and I will start at 34,55, holding bow and powerstone of Vigor, kneeling.
Tactics: Surprise round: --If Felan seen at the start: fire arrow+psionic shot at him, flatfooted with massive range penalties --If Felan not seen: Vigor for Powerstone Regular combat: If Felan still seen, rapid shot while kneeling. Goal is to kill him before he closes for melee If Felan is not seen, active listen checks until he's located, then try to shoot at his square; if he appears to be invisible, rapid shot without psionic shot. If he's ever visible, shoot with psionic shot - If shooting with psionic shot, don't rapid shot. Try to keep ranged; if possible use 5' steps to avoid AoOs and keep shooting.
Psicrystal: Psicrystal constantly makes active listen checks trying to identify Felan, and will transmit that information to Ghost once obtained. Psicrystal will slowly circle the area starting moving diagonally counterclockwise from initial position, continuing this plan (single move, active listen). Once located/combat engaged, will move back to Ghost in case needs to try to nudge him out of unconsciousness (which I doubt would work...) and to look pretty.
Notes: --EA if grappled --Don't use the powerpoint under any circumstances (unless you're giving a lecture!... kidding, kidding. bad joke. powerpoint. get it?), not even if a willsave is coming (having pp reserve for psionic shot is more important) --Once use first psionic shot don't bother trying to regain focus as long as we are engaged... if for some reason there's a break in combat, and there's no way to attack him, then use actions for regaining focus... but I can't see that happening. --If Ghost is ever unconscious, if possible (I really don't know if it is) have psicrystal try to wake him. --Once get to <10 hp (meaning vigor used up, and regular health down to 10), try to break LoS and re-buff Vigor from stone 1 more time, then continue engaging. If this happens, use the rebuffing vigor time of hiding to also re-psionic-focus

The gods seem to be on his side, as the arrow lands a telling blow.(21 vs. AC20, 9 damage)Ghost fails his foritude save(5 vs. DC13 fails...) and falls to the poison. Ghost is knocked out. Whisper's skitters about franically.

@Telin: Wow. I was feeling sorry that I had to interpret the tactics that way, almost surely wasting that poisoned arrow. The fates jest. @Eluria: While a crystal might be able to wake you from sleep(not sure, haven't asked, but I think it can), it can't wake you from unconsciousness; same reason elves aren't immune to the poison. That was an extremely lucky shot, don't think there was much you could have done, there.

So, outmanuever triggers so I can start pretty much start wherever I want. 49-16=33 squares I think.
If I start in box 3, start at 30,33 with shortbow in hand to have LoS into boxes 1 and 4. Rotate about if I start in a different box.
Let's hope I win initiative, since this could take a while if she uses her darkness ability. >.> If I start and have LoS into SiNafay's box and she hasn't acted yet, move forward as a move action and shoot, hopefully ending this before it becomes a problem. If she's already acted, but still in sight, cuss, shoot, then break LoS and hide. If I don't see her at the start, stealthily move to 33,34 (or the appropriate spot to get LoS into the box I didn't already have LoS into) and shoot her if I see her. Stop sooner if I see her before I get to that square and shoot her. If I don't see her at all, just get next to a corner in the center and hide.
After whatever happens, hide in the center of the arena and ready to attack on sight; wait for her to come to me. She should get the delay penalty first if it comes to her waiting for me. After shooting, attempt to run her around the pillars, breaking LOS, and readying to attack. Tumble if needed. If half-move is enough to break LOS and hide, don't accelerated Tumble, otherwise, go for it.
-If she ever attempts to grab me, throw a tanglefoot bag at her, then start throwing alchemist's fire. Grappling is very strong against Julgi at this level. >.>
-If, for some reason, I can't sneak attack her(say, darkness is active or something), use the above contingency as well.

Use my bat to lure the swarm away from me if it's coming for me (eg, have familiar draw it off as "nearest living") and draw it towards him. If the swarm ends up attacking me and can't use my bat familiar to draw it away, cast protection from evil. Then move silently to max range and start wand of MMing him, and hope that wounds + MM make him die and hope he was wounded and dies first. This could turn painful to PL; if so, I apologize. Init + Starting 23 Zireael starts with melee weapons in hand 17 Qhordryn starts with scroll of summon swarm in hand
Round 1 Zireael moves out towards the center Qhordryn casts invisibility from memory ... Zireael hears this and makes note. Qhordryn tries to move out quietly and sees Zireael looking in his direction and trying to follow his path.
Round 2 Zireael runs in the direction of Qhordryn’s noises and waits for the mage to move again Qhordryn casts Expy retreat from scroll which Zireael hears automatically. Qhordryn then tries to sneak away (9 vs 14) but Zireael hears him move but not to where.
Round 3 Zireael makes an active listen check (31 -5 distance vs 9) and bases both the assumed location and Qhordryn’s actual location. Qhordryn tries to sneak away (MS vs 31: 5) and Zireael swivels her head following him exactly. Qhordryn casts Pro evil from scroll.
Round 4 Zireael follows the non-stealthy mage and takes a swing in his square (Miss due to concealment). Qhordryn moves away sneakily again (7 vs 26) but Zireael follows his movement again. He begins to cast from scroll which Zireael pinpoints.
Round 5 Zireael charges the square (Miss due to concealment) Qhordryn finishes his spell placing the swarm on top of Zireael (1 dmg, Fort: 15) He then moves full speed away from the swarm and draws his wand (4 vs 23 9squares)
Round 6 Zireael follows and attacks the wrong square (bleeds) Qhordryn sees Zireael bleeding and double moves through the pillars letting go of the swarm. Swarm has no target

Both fights I have run for him he has tried to be sneaky and failed ... he got lucky this time but use your speed and get away. @Zireael: I thought you had a decent chance when you heard him, but those invis miss chances killed it.

If not - time to go invisible, enlarge, switch to my flail and go sneak attack him with oversized goodness. Er Evilness. Whatever - kill her

@Zireael: Typically, you use darkness on yourself when fighting a rogue since the range of darkness is unfortunately 'touch.' Also, anti-toxins and such will save your life at ECL3, since everyone who's not a typical Paladin uses it.
