Does anyone think they'll be able to pick up an extra fight? That Level 9 monster fight should be fun to run - I just don't know if I have time to pick up a 4th fight.
Araris - go ahead and send me tactics if no one volunteers. It might be help over to next week though.

I'd love to pick up the 9th-level fight. Go ahead and put me down for it, and either send Araris' tactics to me, or he can send them to me directly if he hasn't sent them already.

Bow and Arrow vs Primal Destruction is up. Another insanely crazy fight. Sorry I messed up a few things in the roller, but always tried to apply any d20 rolls I deleted to the next d20 roll for that character. A couple things I found while running this: - split the tree wasn't clear if the companion counted.. so I only used one when I could - the shaman/battlemind looks really great, but I think has too many conflicting abilities. Both mark and heal are minor actions (and call spirit) making her quite deprived of actions. @dgallaty: you can't ready two actions, so if you want to ready summoning the spirit it takes a standard to ready it (even if that is a minor action to use it.) @anihilation: I think this battle i was again unsure how to actually open the fight. you said to use split the tree but the restrictions would make it hard to ready that attack and hope it happens. so i readied two-fang but i wasn't sure at which point to use it, so tried to go for no cover and still having CA (seems that worked...)

Sorry about the extra readied action. It was a fragment from a previous tactic sheet I used, and I simply forgot to delete it. My intention was to have Summon Spirit Companion be the readied action, to block the line-of-sight of one of the rangers, but in the end, I don't think it would have made much difference. The fight was pretty heavily against me as it was.
I'm still amazed at how effective Bow and Arrow are. Two human rangers, nothing fancy going on, but they can really knock opponents down quickly.
Thanks for the run!

I agree! An amazing combination. Prime Shot and Toughness are both things that very few other classes can even compare with as a starting point. That and having DEX as the main attribute is pretty deadly - it has the best riders and still has very useful skills both in and out of combat.
I think Wizards would have figured this out a while ago - Twin Strike is considered shananigans on the Char Op!

Thanks for running the fight Diamondmine!
Yeah, I'll need to describe the opening attack options a little better. Split the Tree sounds so good on paper, but the conditions are a lot harder to hit than I thought they'd be so I'll need to account for that.
Thanks for the compliment dgallaty! I'd been doing a lot of theory crafting before putting the team together and in a pvp situation the team has a lot of advantages. Ideally they'd have been hybrids but i didn't think I could use hybrid right out of the gate. I also didn't realize a few cornerstones of the pair are banned (invigorating stride power and swiftshot crossbow ;_; ) But so far they are doing very well.

Received a couple of PMs from Scalma today about the partial fight:
Hey I was just curious why Gloria didn't use her ap to finish off Beast while he was blind in that last round?
Also should he have used the tusk thing on me?
Looks like I missed both of these. I will add them in before moving on with the fight.
Re: Bow and Arrow - lonewolf made the Eagle Eye Twins as a pair of Elven rangers early on and they rocked it out with a 10-1 record to get to the level 7 league.
Striker pairs can be very effective, but there is a good reason why we don't see more of them... feel free to find out what that is on your own
