I mean, they will allow you to advertise any game there... might bring in some fresh blood. Speaking as fresh blood that followed a sig.
It would be pretty simple, and I know there are more then a few people that trawl the recrutment page for games.

I posted Risen Angin vs Adryll and my own review of CoCo. I figured that fight was exciting, close and showed some interesting action and unusual weapons. It'll show how fun core can be-- and there's a critical hit in that fight too.

Yeah stuff in PHB/DMG/MM that isn't in the SRD is still allowed! With Rennaisance weapons though you need to craft them yourself, you can't buy them, I think.

There aren't rules in place for making or buying weapons beyond the rennaisance era. For rennaisance weapons it works like this: Skills and FeatsCraft Firearms & Knowledge Engineering: If you have at least 5 ranks in each and pass DC 20 with a take 10, you can craft Renaissance Weapons (DMG,p145) at half the mentioned price (such weapons cannot be bought). Note that some require you to take Exotic Weapon Proficiency and to craft special ammunition. The Rapid Reload feat can be used for firearms (a reload time of 1 standard action is reduced to 1 swift action), and magical enchantments work like for any ranged weapon.

In any case, I've got links there in my sig and hopefully that will draw in a few more people. I mostly do PbP on GitP but I occasionally hang out in the roleplaying and 3.5e forum.
