wisdom seems a bit low for the psionic hole feat. remember that they they can manifest even without focus. focus usually powers feats, and can be expended for concentration checks.
spot will usually get you more milage than listen (listen has range penalties).
I'd switch 3 of the magic weapon oils out for some other expendables. You should only be using 1 per fight anyway. a psionic tattoo of skate and/or force screen might do you well.

huh, thats run on wis... I think he's about to become a cleric. I liked the idea of flipping off manifesters, but I failed to realize that PO was wis based.
listen is a class skill...
bow and sword. I was tempted to make the bow master work and leave it at that but... dunno. the extra damage would be a bit silly. might make sense to do that and dump gold into skate...
is there a reason for no potion of shield? I thought it would help to have one for the one mage fight to stop pesky mm...

cannot get potions of stuff with a personal range. so yes, mage armor; no, shield. brooch of shielding is your only option there.
as far as cleric, doing the 1 barbarian, 1 level cleric (magic, darkness), 1 barbarian thing is pretty powerful.

well... It would add another stat for focus to the list(so either dex, con, or str would take a hit... probably str with 6 points locked up in the +4...) but on the other hand, halfing the cost of expendibles(scrolls) would add another layer of versitilaty, and let shield be an option. and being able to free UMD everything short of psionic is tempting...
question, I'm not finding a darkness domain... am I blind?

I don't think it's in the actual player's handbook - a lot of folks here use the srd online (there are a few others online), which includes some material from "Divine" section, etc -- a few other domains.

Spot has distance penalties too. It's just a bit more useful IMO. AFAIK, the Brooch of Shielding only absorbs Magic Missile damage - which is good, but I don't think MM is that much of an issue at ECL 3 (I did think of a sniper-type guy with a wand but it's slow to kill). You want Tattoos of Force Screen, but they cost 100gp (personal range tattoos cost double). Consider also Potions of Enlarge Person (you can have a CL1 one for 50gp). Magic and Darkness make for a great Cleric dip. Hooray, you can now use Scrolls/Wands of Divine Favour etc AND of e.g. Shield and Enlarge Person. Saves a lot of money on potions too. War is also an option but slightly a waste if you already have martial proficiency. I think in the CoCo, Psionic Hole might actually be quite nice to have; manifesters are popular here. Just remember that neither AC nor Grease need be affected by it. You will need at least 12 Wis, though - I would recommend 14 to make it worthwhile.

It is noted as being non core specificly... is it allowed in COCO? as for SRDs, I tend ot use www.d20srd.org/index.htm well, for the one sorc build that wants a cheap win and has a mm wand+expidious retreate or skate or flight, being able to shut off all damage for one full minute is really nice... as aposed to force screen with no such boost(and 100gp for +4 shield ac? nah, definetly caster dip.) with magic, stupid amounts of expendibles(18, so 6 three sets...) as part of the build is viable. heck, with wands, the expendable cap can be done away with... toss the bow for a wand of mm and a three stack of expidious retreat(for shielded foes, get close and melee their faces with a falchion)... would need to start grabing wands after the first round for the order of magnatude cheaper price... ok, I think he gets a cleric dip

I'm a fan of d20srd.
CoCo allows all the open source stuff, so psionics, divine and some monster stuff are all allowed freely. We also allow some Unearthed Arcana stuff for credits (alternate classes/races).
the sorc retreat/mm combo works alright, but horses, arrows, and scrolls of retreat can counter it. Same goes for the druid entangle/produce flame combo. Be sure to have a melee backup plan.
As for Wis, if you're only dipping for the domain powers, then you only need a Wis of 11 or 12 (the CL check for lv 3-4 scrolls is not worth worrying about).
As for magic missile, experience recommends getting a few scrolls with 6 magic missiles on them and saving up for a wand of mm with a higher caster level. Less money loss vs. selling the remainder of the cl1 wand.

It seems a bit clearer then the SRD I've had refranced, but apparently it has some holes...
really? sweet. man if they only allowed a little homebre... ok stoping there. I have seen games torn apart by the stuff however much I love makeing it.
I was mostly tossing it in as the range replacment of a bow(less damage per shot, but cirtain hit... I think it wins). the problem would be geting disrupted, but with cleric buffs and scroll buffs(shield, mage armor, shield of faith...) an AC around 22... plus cover... I think he can pull it off as bow replacment. but I can't see pulling off a lot of scrolls, as they sit under the expendeble cap. I mean, only 18 scrolls at level 3...
(best idea ever... mini staff. cl3 mm(2 charges for 562.5)+shield(1 charge for 281.25)+mage armor(1 charge for 182.5)+ shield of faith(1 charge for 182.5)+expidious retreate(1 charge for 182.5)=1376gp 2sp and 5cp... less then two first level wands... can we black market conections before first match? as with other skills? I so wanna make this staff)
