Hey guys! I'm new to the Core Coliseum. I found my here from the Real Adventures boards, and after getting a reminder when I saw Telin around, I finally got a couple teams posted; A rock and a hard place, and Avenging retribution. Let me know what you think.

I have a couple questions regarding the fight cycle and encounter powers. - A 4-fight cycle would be equivalent to one day's worth of encounters in a traditional adventure, correct?
- Do encounter powers reset after each fight in a fight cycle, after the second fight in a cycle, or stay used until a completely new cycle?

You start each Fight Cycle as if you just finished an Extended Rest.
Each fight is treated like one encounter, so encounter powers recharge after each fight. You keep track of resources you used during the fight (Daily powers, Healing Surges, Action Points, etc.).
The rest period between fights is treated a little differently than the typical short rest. You automatically heal to full HPs without having to spend any Healing Surges, including any fallen gladiator. Your encounter powers also recharge.
After the second fight in the Fight Cycle, the team reaches a Milestone and gains extra Action Point and Item powers as usual.
Then after the fourth fight in the Fight Cycle, the team has an Extended Rest and all powers are recharged, and Action Points and Item powers are reset.

Hmm...the CoCo battle map doesn't want to generate the correct image after I get into round three of a trial I'm running. I've even tried closing the page and reopening, trying to start where I left off, but it still gives the wrong image, whether its the upper left corner of the small arena, or the upper left corner of the 3.5e arena map. Each time I've checked to make sure I had the small arena selected.
Edit: Thanks mr0bunghole.
Edit 2: Nevermind, I figured out what it was.

So I took one of my teams I have posted above and another team I have on my computer, and I ran a test battle. Here are the results. Test Fight
Show
Init: Keyleth (18), Claw (15), Three (8), Vered (1)
R1: Both teams move out, sticking close to each other.

R2: Team 2 chooses to forge straight towards the center of the arena, while Av. Ret. chooses to circumscribe it clockwise. After moving, both teams notice each other and prepare for battle.

R3: Keyleth uses Oath of Enmity (encounter power), targeting Three. Then she moves up and hits Three hard (Three -8hp; 27/35). In response, Three lets out a fierce yell, marking Keyleth, and then swings his warhammer (Weight of Earth at-will power), solidly connecting (Keyleth -11hp; 17/28). Claw moves up and looks to enter the fray, lighting up Keyleth with some magic flames (Faerie Fire daily power). Seeing his partner in trouble, Vered jumps into the fray, however in his zealous charge he swings wide and misses (Radiant Vengeance at-will power).
Keyleth: 17/28hp, slowed, granting Combat Advantage; Three: 27/35hp; Claw: 24/24hp; Vered: 28/28hp
R4: Keyleth looses a mighty blow (Angelic Alacrity encounter power), dealing a critical hit (Three -19hp; 8/35, bloodied). Seeing her foe nearly down, Keyleth surges forward (Action point spent) and attacks (Bond of Pursuit at-will power), but Three manages to get her shield up in time. As she recovers from her onslaught, Keyleth tries to shake off the flames outlining her, but fails. Seeing Keyleth slowing down, Three shifts to get closer to Vered to protect Claw, then roars and transforms into a snow-covered figure in the middle of a blizzard and swings her hammer in front of her (Form of the Winter Herald daily power, FotWH encounter power), causing the blizzard to swirl around Keyleth and Vered (critical hit, Keyleth and Vered -17hp; Vered 11/28hp, immobilized, bloodied; Keyleth 0/28, dying). Afterwards, Three seems to become revitalized (spend action point and use second wind; Three +6hp; 14hp, bloodied, +2 to all defenses). Bolstered when he sees Keyleth drop, Claw focuses on his last remaining enemy, drops his club and transforms into a panther. Then he springs forward and bites Vered as he struggles with the ice encasing his legs (Wild SHape at-will power, Darting Bite encounter power; Vered -5hp; 6/28hp, . Then Claw bounds away behind Three.Having no choice, Vered turns his focus on Three and attacks, hitting Three and causing a shaft of light to shine down on her (Temple of Light daily power; Three -12hp; 2hp, bloodied) As he attacks, he breaks free from the ice (save succeeds).
Keyleth: 0/28hp, dying; Three: 2/35hp, bloodied, +1 AC, resist 5 cold; Claw: 24/24hp; Vered: 11/28hp, bloodied
R5: Three, on the brink of going down, channels an attack to try and end the fight, swinging her hammer (Thunder Ram Assault encounter power). She fails however, and calls to Claw to finish Vered. Claw transforms back to his normal form and shifts to get a better angle at Vered. Throwing his hands out, Claw shoots barbed vines at Vered, hoping to finish the fight (Thorn Whip at-will attack), but misses as well. Vered sees his chance to even the odds and swings at Three, but misses as well.
Keyleth: 0/28 hp, dying; Three: 2/35hp, bloodied, +1 AC, resist 5 cold; Claw: 24/24hp; Vered: 11/28hp, bloodied
R6: Three gathers herself up for another attack (Weight of Earth at-will power), but can't manage to hit. Claw shifts closer and throws his thorn whips out again (Thorn Whip at-will power) and finally manages to hit Vered, dropping him. Three and Claw mop up their opponents, and emerge victorious.
Keyleth: 0/28 hp, dying; Three: 2/35hp, bloodied, +1 AC, resist 5 cold; Claw: 24/24hp; Vered: -3/28hp, dying I know there's a couple things that are wrong, such as moving diagonally isn't possible for red in the first image, and I realized afterwards that I forgot to add Three's Con mod to her AC when I used her second wind. Is there anything else anyone can see that would need to be fixed if this were a real fight, aside from needing to put up used resources?

It will be difficult to comb through the fight thread and review the small stuff without seeing the team of Claw and Three posted on the wiki. However, it looks like you're getting a hang of the Mapper and Dice Roller programs. I'll take some time to look over your fight (I'm running MINI 1-3 in the morning, so I'm prepping for that tonight, but I'll try to look over the fight soon).
Quick observations: In Round 1 it looks like the teams only took one move action (unless they readied actions in addition to moving). Don't forget to take full use of all your actions.
Also, I think a usual tactic for most CoCo teams, if they do not know where their opponents are right off, they will move out and Ready an action for spotting their opponent.

Thanks for the quick look. I probably should have just used my two posted teams so everything could be accounted for, but I had already started when I figured that myself, lol. I'll have the team posted up either later tonight or tomorrow. Anything else you can see will help me in the future.

Glad to see that you resolved the mapper issues. If you do have further issues with the mapper, please don't hesitate to post exactly what the problem seems to be, browser version and op system are a good idea as well. My brother is the current maintainer of it - but he only works on it when he has the time and if he has concrete items to work on.
