Working on it

Couple of conference calls this morning and just work stuff.

Pairings should be up soon though.

That's my little token for participating in the lair assault: Forge of the Dawn Titan. This is the thing I'm trying to implement here (either officially or in some other capacity).

Just a head's up - I'm underwater at work right now and about to head into another meeting. In other words - pairings will be coming, just not as "promptly" as usual. As if I am all that prompt to begin with...

Just to give everyone an update in case you have noticed:

I am extraordinarily busy these days. This usually means that activity around here dwindles, but I'm happy to say we are continuing to put up very solid post count numbers and despite Eluria's time off - even have decent fight counts per week. I expect this to continue!

My state of busy-ness is mostly personal and hopefully quite temporary. I will still be pitlording as much as I can (so don't worry about activating "too many" characters - we'll manage - we always do), and even activating as much as I can. I will still try to do separate thread fights where I can and accommodate for updates elsewhere when I am able.

What this does mean is that I have slightly less time for the administrative side of things. I am putting my priorities as far as that goes to the following:

1. Pairings! (always number 1 priority)
2. Birthday PMs - this is an important reminder to those who don't come by frequently that we are still here and doing well.
3. Contests - you guys are helping me with this - and that is great to have on the side as well.
4. Updating credit totals - this is something that doesn't take much time, but it is all recorded - so it is easy for me to leave it for a few weeks if I need to.
5. Updating the rules. Yes - this is pretty much never on my radar. Every once in a while I'll get a PM about a confusing item in the Rules, but the problem is they are bulky and difficult to just pick up, update, and then put down. Eventually I'd like to get around to redoing the bulk of it so all of the links work, the color formating is correct and anything else I can come up with.

Anyway - I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up so they know where I am at.

This week has definitely been "slower" than the previous 2-3 weeks, but in terms of post count, we're "on par" this week for what we were doing before the spike of activity. Yesterday's "slowness" was only 33 posts - which is still above average on a daily basis for any month in our history as a group. And since we've already crushed the monthly number this month - I am just a happy GM with all of this activity in the first place...
