I've been working up a campaign set in and around Threshold; really looking forward to returning to the Grand Duchy - and bring the old players back too - after some 15+ years of having left the setting. It's been great just thumbing thru the gaz's and the old adventures. Happy days. Merry Christmas everyone

I used to pore over the red box set ALL THE TIME. I must've run through the solo dungeon in the PHB a million times. I've recently been feeling a LOT of nostalgia for the old game, and I'm actually considering running a "play-by-email" game for my old players. Anyone have any suggestions? Like should I go strict on sticking to the rules as written, or make some modifications, like 4d6 rolls for ability scores, max HP at 1st level, and magic-users having the ability to cast one 1st level spell 3 times before needed to rest?

I just started playing the Rahasia adventure with my wife and kids... After 3 hours they didn't want to stop... The love that game! HAAA! I got total newbies making me relive the old days...

Thanks for the invite, Havard! I was actually just flipping through my old Cook/Marsh Expert book when I got the invite message. Kinda cool.

BECMI forever! My favorite edition of all. I still have all the original box set books, and actually just opened them up the other day to reference some material.

    Awesome group!
