Once again Dave C. orchestrated a great show. No blizzard this year, but it was very cold! Overall it is a great place to have a convention. There are a variety of food places nearby and there is room to grow in the convention hall.
I saw a lot of people having fun (the number of attendees increased in the area of 20%) and the people I talked to, both DMs and players, were having a good time.
The first LFR Battle Interactive seemed to be well received. I spoke with some of the globals on Sunday and they seemed pleased.
Personally, besides marshaling and being a DM, I managed to get to play once and sit in on 2 seminars. My swordmage finally made it to the H2 level band !
Rich Baker was there and for his book signing they managed to get a hold of his next book (not out till March). They also had copies of the earlier books, so no one who wanted an autographed book would go away empty handed. I think he signed books for an hour and half. Not often that you go to a con and get a free autographed book!
There was a nice area of dealers there. I picked up a few books that I had not yet gotten around to buying anf just barely managed to resist buying more dice!
It was a fun time!
