As I finished my third degree and have picked up a freelance job, my time has been more limited lately. I apologize for my absence.

I have to wonder what the excuse is at Dungeon though. We haven't seen a new Chaos Scar adventure in awhile and I don't see anything on the schedule. It seems that we have been dropped.

I propose we take it over. We write the new adventures collaboratively using the wiki and these forums. I know many will be enthusiastic about the idea of it, but I need to hear from those that can actually contribute. If you could contribute to fan adventures for the Chaos Scar, let me know and what you are good at.

I can make some maps.  I am pretty good with dungeons and caves, passable with wilderness and cities.  I have been using gimp to touch up the PDF maps for the campaign i will start soon.

I do have a question.  Are we getting into the realm of intellectual property theft if we post maps that we have touched up on this forum or group sight?

I would also like top try my hand at plot and story development.

In my campaign the scar is located in the Nentir Vale, which is on the very brink of war with the orcs in the stonemarch.  The cities Fallcrest, Hammerfast, Winterhold are incresingly isolated by the month, travel outside of town is getting rare.

let me know what you need

I have no idea about intellectual property. Since this is wizards own site, I don't think it's much of a problem. They  have immediate control and can take down anything they don't like, and have not done so.

Can you come up with a compelling map for a short delve? Go a little nuts. Then we can wiki it and develop it as a group. That's the sort of thing I'm thinking about.

I do find the fact they havent updated the CS main page and map with the latest adventures, very annoying. Makes finding them tricky! =(

Also Im not fond of the placement of "Slavers stone" locations!
Way too close to the main crater to be without descriptions IMO.

"Chaos Scar Conclusion: The Chaos Scar series concludes  this December with “Heart of the Scar,” a high-end heroic-tier adventure  set in the fortress overlooking the meteor-carved valley. For DMs  who’ve enjoyed running the adventures in this series, we hope “Heart of  the Scar” is a worthy capstone for your heroic-tier campaign. And if  you’re wondering what to do with your characters once they enter paragon  tier, look no further!"

Dissappointed they end it in heroic, but hopefully it can be adapted for higher tiers.

Is there a more definitive list of all the Choas Scar adventures than this one?

community.wizards.com/chaos_scar/wiki/Ch...

Does that link list all the adventures in the series?

Firebeetle hasnt been active for a while. There has been a few more adventures since that are not yet included on that list.
Unfortunately Wizards havent updated the original list either last time I checked so you have to search the dungeon archives =(
If you do feel free to add links on the wiki list! I have been meaning to but never found the time/energy sorry

It's nice to see that there's another new Chaos Scar adventure, this time "Reflections of Ruin", level 7. I've updated the wiki with that one too. Also, nice to see that it references some other products (Gardmore Abbey) and previous CS adventures (Scarred for Life, another level 7 CS adventure).
