Talked with my girl about dnd yesterday. We are planning to finish a few campaigns soon.
Ive got so many ideas.
Problems
- We play in a small kitchen with a small table. There arent enough room for the maps (I have to cut them into sections) and her parents (Her mom especially) wants to "get by" us which requires us to get up, and walk away. (She is a big woman) Her mom also asks us pointless ,redundant questions to get attention as she cant stand not soaking up all the attention in the room. She also calls people and talks loudly, screams through the house, and watches TV on loud volumes. It seems however, this only happens when we play.
- Food, or lack thereof causes a distraction. When people are hungry, noone gives a **** about how scary the setting is or how interested they are about something. Im thinking sandwiches would be a good food because lack of mess and quickness of execution.
- I have no male players. I miss them and their silly antics. Somewhat.
- I dont know which campaign to play and I dont have the Heros forgotten book. So no leveling up I guess..
