Also last night, The Red Zone did this to win a four-player free-for-all in record time:
Brutal!

This week, I have added to my topdecking reputation.
I was playing the Century of Good Elf deck for a laugh (the red/green 100-card Elf deck) - it's currently routinely getting owned, due to the high level of creature removal in my playgroup.
So I spent half the game sitting there with all the Thousand-Year Elixir s and Rings of Brighthearth I'd ever need, drawing land and not keeping creatures on the table. Everyone leaves me alone and beats the heck out of each other.
My last remaining opponent has just ruthlessly blasted someone off the table with three Deep-Sea Kraken s. He's on 6 life, but he's going to untap and take my head off, so he's smiling.
I draw... Triskelion . I pop the three counters, and copy each activation with Rings of Brighthearth for exactly 6 damage. Lulz are had.

Because I can pimp my crazy multiplayer guides on here (bwaahaha!! I'm going mad with blog power!!)...
CadaverousBl00m's Guide To Multiplayer Artifice
Don't ask me how long that took to write.

At one point during a six-player game last night, we had the following:
There wasn't a single player without a decent beater! Tell me, who do you think swung at who first?

You play multiplayer, right? You're playing casually, right? Naturally you're on a budget.
Come and discuss how you play duals and fetches in multiplayer when you're on a budget. What are your favourite options that don't cost $12 a copy?

One of the next deck ideas bubbling around inside my brain. I've got a playset of Kobold Taskmaster s and a few of the Legends Kobolds already. Now to find a use for them.

The Searing Balefire deck got run in a four-player game last night, and did its usual trick (draw no Lieges , finish second and almost win).
It scalped the first player with Searing Meditation . After a Wrath. Thanks to Firemane Angel . Style points!
My remaining two players were black Vampires and an interesting concotion from my playgroup's fellow Johnny - monowhite flying tokens + Magus of the Moat . The vampire player is our group's official Threat, so he was struggling away on minimal life, not being able to get his deck going. The monowhite deck had dropped Magus of the Moat and produced a pile of birds thanks to Emeria Angel . He was the one I needed to top first. I drop him to two, he produces more birds, threatens to attack but passes the turn. I topdeck Orim's Thunder , and I have a Spitemare on the board... woo! I win, right? No... the only artifacts and enchantments on the board are all casting cost 1!
I cast the Thunder, drop him to 1, and he then proceeds to drop Mirror Entity , and win the game by sending six 12/12 fliers at each of us. If only it had been a Lightning Helix ...

When did Chandra Ablaze get so affordable?
I so do not need to be considering a playset.

This link used to be in my sig on the old Gleemax site, so I thought I'd plonk it here for a laugh.
Once upon a time, my 1337 topdecking skills made it into an official WotC article. Read this old Ferrett article, get to the bottom of the Treefolk section, and laugh at my luck.
But don't stress about the bad luck of the friend with the Verdant Force s - he's the same guy that pulled off the 'Best Start Ever' last week. He's coped. :D
