Hola, I am a GoodReads member [as is our current auther Marsheila Rockwell] which I find very helpful to track how many books I have read in a year as well as to get book recommendations from friends. I also use Shelfari--mostly because my Kindle sync's with it. Also, I have found it to be a good way to take notes in the cloud. While reading an eBook I highlight all the character & place names, I then enter the character names from a book I am reading onto shelfari--which is a very cool feature, not just because it helps me stay connected to the characters and the story, but also because you can link the character to their appearance in other books--which is often an awesome way to find your next book. Of course, GoodReads & Shelfari are both general book tools--I was wondering if anyone was using a similar resource mores focused on Fantasy Literature?

I think you're ahead of me in this, as I've only started using Shelfari in the past year, and haven't tried any of the other sites yet. I was glad that they finally fixed the Shelfari connection with Facebook recently. (And I see you found me on there!)
I didn't know about the interactivity with the Kindle, which sounds really cool and makes sense because Amazon owns Shelfari. I've tried to enter info for some of our past Book Club reads on Shelfari.

I am a big fan of Goodreads as well . I have been keeping a reading journal/list for the last 10 years but recently switched to Goodreads to track and review what I read. It is a great way to discuss books and I have found many new reads (both new and old).
I have not tried Shelfari, but since I do most of my reading on the Kindle I will check it out.
