Currently reading "The Eye of the Chained God: The Abyssal Plague Trilogy, Book III". Excited on how they are going to tie this trilogy up. Will Albanon stay good or join the Dark side? Have a lot of interest in the Dawn War and the makings of Faerun. Is there a novel series that covers this war and the outcomes?

I was wondering, how do you choose books you are going to read next, and when do I/we get notice of that next book?

Hey Erik, could you change the Book Club picture over to The God Catcher? Thanks! And for everyone else, we're busy reading the God Catcher and discussing the book and the Realms with author Erin Evans over in the Book Club forums, so come on over and join in. We're only 100 pages or so into the novel - still time to catch up. Or just hop on over for the discussion. We don't bite! (Well, Nestrix might . . .)

The Seal of Karga Kul is the best D&D novel since the Heirs of Ash books. Irvine writes well and is able to transform an adventure gamers might play into prose that work without calling attention to gaming mechanics. I enjoyed the preview of the Dark Sun comic which he penned so I have high hopes for that series.

Speaking of comics (somewhat off subject for the Wotc Novel Book Club)... The Dungeons and Dragons comic is shaping up to be a fantastic series. The first issues were marvelous.

Novel survey: Can't seem to post a direct link, but it's on the www.wizards.com/dnd page, about a third or so down, on the right.
