About Me:
I am an engineer who enjoys playing D&D with his son. I started playing in 1978 and took a hiatus for about 20 years and started playing with my Brother , son and nephews about 3 years ago when I DMed an Eberron campaign. That group has broken up and mostly my son and I are doing the LFR thing with the RPGA. Thinking about starting to DM a 4E Eberron game.

Another example would be the bard, which could be a warrior skald, arcane trickster, advisor and keeper of knowledge, roguish gypsy, and more.
A general rule I would suggest is that a class with a wide variety of potential backgrounds is worth class and alternative classes...
