The problem with capping D&D classes to 4 comes in when we have so many different ideas on what constitutes the attributes of a class from previous editions, such as the varying views on ranger in these posts.
Another example would be the bard, which could be a warrior skald, arcane trickster, advisor and keeper of knowledge, roguish gypsy, and more.

I admit I have been neglecting A Hero Twice A Month recently. I will try to get it back on track this month. After all, I would hate to disappoint the Lords of Tyr's number one fan. On the Lords of Tyr side, we have been talking with WOTC PR and might have some interesting guests coming up on the podcast. At the very least I have my fingers crossed!

Glad you enjoyed it. The next episode is, in fact, a review of DMG2 with Quinn from the At-Will blog and Dave from the Critical Hits blog. It was a fun episode to record and I wanted to get it out last weekend, but life intervened. My goal is to work on it tomorrow and have it out either tomorrow night or Wednesday night. After that I have a review of Bruce Cordell's current novel series (first two books) and an interview with him done by regular contributor Will Wong. It's nice to have a backlog of episodes again, but it always comes with pressure to get them out in a timely manner...so off I go.
