How is rolling done? Is there some kind of BBCode/online roller or do we just use IRL dice and have an honor system?
What I think the Wilder Design Goals should be.
Psionic Homebrew Mk2! Changed core, Focus Points, Psionic Potentials, stuff! Very basic core stuff. :P

Homebrew Psionics blog posts archive:
Spoiler: Show

UPDATED Dec/18/2012: BAMN! Random update with a modest amount of hard rules for Animal Affinity, Telepathy, and Telekinesis. ADDED: Discipline Burn and more "soft" ideas.
Dec/13/2012: Small Psionics Homebrew Update, now that I'm done with Finals.

Really old.

I'm working on a homebrew Wilder, and so a homebrew Psionics system. Here's a 3 part post with info on where I am in the design process.
Part 1, Hard rules/example soulknife discipline: Link.
Part 2, Basic ideas/goals on basic numbers and classes: Link.
Part 3, Direction/ideas I want to take with specific disciplines: Link.

You can roll dice, add bonus, and show proof of the roll. ^.^

Or you can rolled a 20 dice at home. I don't care, I trust you rolled fairly. :P

Actually, I leave my big-ol' bag of dice at my friend's house where we usually play D&D. Either way, I like having proof. You never know when you'll get 3 20s in a row, and if you do you'll be kicking yourself if it there's no way to prove it.

A test:
1d20=15

Cool.

Do we get extra languages for high intellegence in Next? I didn't see anything about it in the playtest books, but I could have been overlooking it. =P

I'm going to make a test battle.

For those who want to join. Make a 5lv character and get ready.

This test is to see how powerful is a 5lv character is.

Edit: Tough encounter, 1375 exp worth of monsters per player.

1 Player: 1 minotuar and 3 human berserkers.
2 Players: 2 minotuars and 6 human berserkers.
3 Players: 3 minotuars and 9 human berserkers.
and so forth.

The battlefield will be open area. The party will be attacked from different sides. Each side will only have 1 minotuar and 3 human berserkers.

The battle doesn't have to be played out here. Just post your 5th Character and test it out at home and post the results here.

Wojek Siren 5lv Fighter
HP: 64     (5d10+20+10)
AC: 18 (Banded plus Shield)

Attack +6 with Longsword (1d8+2)

Speciality Survivor
Fighting Style: Deadly Strike, Parry, Protect, Push, Knock Down.
Expertise Dice: 2d8

Results:

Solo: Alive with only 5 hit points left on the first fight. Dead with the minotuar alive at 32 hit points. Damn thing crt me twice on both charges on both battles. 36 damage is not nice. >.<

I'm a bit busy with school ATM, early weeks are like that, but I'll probably give this a shot on Wednesday. I'd actually like to see how Sorc works out. That dragon heritage thing is like a pure reincarnation of a character I had in 3.5. (I picked ranged rogue this game because that's where most of the mechanics I'm curious about are. Rapid Shot so far has seemed rather legit actually.)
