Where are Tanis Half-Elven and Tasselhoff Burrfoot? Or maybe Palin Majere? Or better yet, Tika Waylan (preferably before she was married :P) and Catti-brie? Now those are people I'd have a dinner date with in a heartbeat. Don't get me wrong, there are some great choices on that list, I just think it could be diversified a bit. Ooo, how about Lady Alustriel. She could be fun to sit and talk with.

I have to concur with Paulos. Your setting of Io'mandra sounds far more appealing and awesomer (yes, i said awesomer) than my less than stellar home brewed campaign, which tends to change weekly due to catering to the wild ideas of my PCs (they youngest two are ten yr old twins and make one helluva handful). One that note, Ravenloft or Dragonlance would be awesome.
