Players present: Amy, Rachel, C Rachel came over for dinner and D&D last night. We made her character—Raine, a liminal rogue—and played a brief, two-encounter session. Raine is a sailor on the Cresting Wave, the doomed dwarf vessel that will soon carry all the characters toward Haven. Garel-Kai (C's jann swordmage) was already aboard, on his way to Haven as a diplomatic emissary from the jann tribes. Players Present: Amy, Tony Tony came over for dinner on Saturday. He made his character, and then we decided to play through a brief flashback adventure to create a bit of past history between his character and Amy's.  Amy's character (Vanri) is apprenticed to a wizard of Angler Island named Laurish Samprey. Her mentor asked her to travel to a ruined lighthouse on a small neighboring island in order to retrieve some residuum (the magical substance left behind when magic items decay) from the top of the tower.
