The deck I purchased was the New Phyrexia starter deck. Why? Because I saw the holographic Moltensteel Dragon. For some reason, I am now trying to research into building an all dragon/flying deck that I could use. I never used to be so interested in dragons, but for Magic, I am.
Being a noob, I have no clue if Dragons and flying creatures are even a good strategy to use in Magic. I am hoping to find a way to make it work though.
Along with the purchase of the starter deck, I went ahead and bought a bulk box filled with 800 cards for $10. It's filled with tons, and tons of cards that I honestly have no clue are good, or bad, but I did get a nice Holo Mountain. xD
I did add and subtract from the starter deck, which might not have been such a good idea, but I did it in my own interest and it's a good way to at least learn a bit of the Magic game.
My deck currently is:
\n1 x Moltensteel Dragon
\n1 x Shattered Angel
\n2 x Kemba's Skyguard
\n1 x Lumengrid Gargoyle
\n1 x Grim Backwoods
\n2 x Rage Extractor
\n1 x Flame Wave
\n1 x Phyrexian Rebirth
\n2 x Whitesun's Passage
\n1 x Pristine Talisman
\n1 x Marrow Shards
\n2 x Act of Aggression
\n1 x Solem Offering
\n2 x Pacifism
\n1 x Apostle's Blessing
\n1 x Gut Shot
\n12 x Mountain
\n13 x Plains
\n1 x Turf Wound
\n1 x Orgr Resister
\n1 x Phyrexian Juggernaut
\n2 x Porcelain Legionnaire
\n3 x Slash Panther
\n1 x Inquisitor Exarch
\n1 x Priest of Urabrask
\n1 x Alloy Myr
\n1 x Reckless Waif
\n1 x Cathedral Membrane
I'm not sure what is exactly good, or bad, about that deck. It's going to be a lot of trial and error, I'm sure learning how that deck will be good and what not.
If you have suggestions for that deck, or for a way to take some cards out and make a nice dragon deck out of it with other cards, let me know.

For now though, I feel this post is good for a first one. I'll write again, next time I have something about Magic to write about.
