If WotC would like to remove the need for EVERY part to have a healer, and not refer to the, horrendus sorry personal opinion,  Healing Surge system, I would like to offer my idea.

Revamped healing
I have hinted at this through various posts, tweets, and now in my blog. If WotC wants to create a system where a healer is not needed for every party, they need to create a method of healing that is semi-realistic.
What I propose is a new way to look at the healing skill, using guidelines that Monte Cooke has spelled out in his Legends & Lore compilation. For those who don’t know, Monte Cooke wanted to remove players from rolling for everything in combat, as it takes away

So I know 5E is in the works, and i am curious which direction it will go in, especially to compete with the Pathfinder system(which i called dnd 3.7) but with the issues that are provided its hard to gain a concise idea of what a player is looking for unless they spell out the entire system. This is will be part of a series of blogs in response to comments on the blog and my own personal beliefs. And so starts Episode 5E.3
