The game began with Kirk being released from FedEx due to his mission failure and destruction of their ship due to faulty cybernetic implants. He is released on a severance package of 2000 credits first month, a thousand each month afterwards, and an apartment in the spaceport paid in full. Leaving for his apartment he does not like the decorations so he hires a cyberneticist to recode the apartment to a proper decorations code.
Triana Levine is an about to be fresh graduate from the Cybernetics University, and receives a spammed message on her messaging device for an interior decorating code job, she applies and receives information from Kirk. He flies to the planet and proceeds to pick her up, after a few failed attempts to portal himself to her home. They agree to a price and head back to the space station. They find out that the transporters are down and must take a shuttle back to the station, and where they run into a BEAR!
Not any old bear mind you, but Marva Dresden, fighter nomad. She is on her way for a new job or new adventure. Heading to the station, she runs into the two cyberneticists and after a few failed repartees the three travel to the station. While having lunch; Marva finds a job as a bouncer at Babylon; Kirk searches for a ship, and Triana recodes the room. Kirk really wanting a ship of his own finds out that there is a man who is buying a used ship but needs additional help. Contacting him, being Rob S. Pierre, they come to an arrangement, and the four become partners in buying this ship. Kirk decides to sell his apartment for his share, while Triana cons her dad for 5000 credits; Rob informs them of a job opportunity retrieving something from a dungeon on Nex Terra. After accepting the job, the four go on their way.
They reach the old family dwelling on Nex Terra, and Kirk rushes inside. The four are ambushed by three goblins that are quickly dispatched, and they proceed inside. The two cyberneticists use the dead goblins to make an animated body to use to check for biometric traps, and Marva is told to use it as a trap detector. They see inside a grand entry way, and towards each side of the walls lay stairs proceeding upwards, but the group heads towards the doorway below the balcony, and into a hallway. After ripping off an arm and throwing it towards the left, they proceed right. The first room they come to is an old dining room, finding nothing. Proceeding to the next room is a kitchen where Rob gathers some water from the sink. Hearing an oddity with the draining they discover an unnatural dug hole, and a ladder that proceeds down. The party heads down and three of the four fail to hold onto the ladder and fall into a pool on the floor below.
Now on the ground floor, and fallen into the pool, the splashes had alert more guards. Once again they quickly dispatch the guards including a near drowning in the pool. Proceeding down the right hallway again, they come across more rooms. To the left is an old pool house room, where Kirk proceeds to dismantle the television for parts. The next room leads them a large room with a pit full of bones. Using another goblin to detect for traps, Marva nearly swings the goblin into the pit. Kirk retrieves the goblin but activates a trap which hurts Marva and quickly leaving the room they head down a dark hallway to a large ballroom. No part is happening here, just now a goblin throne room. A battle happens and nearly exterminates both Rob and Kirk but the team wins. Heading opposite from their entry point into the pool, they discover a staircase that leads to a secret entrance to the hallway opposite the kitchen. Knowing they’ve yet come to the treasure of their assignment, the proceed down the left hand side of the hallway.
'''DM Notes''' : the party managed to roleplay and play their characters properly, and killed a total of 12 goblins. Each goblin had a 1/3 Encounter Rating; so the team earned 1200 exp points, so divided four ways; each player is given 300 exp.
