The crimson demon can be found sometimes in the field of Shizo. This is one of his "undisclosed locations".
Centuries ago, Shizo was a verdant field of wildflowers. After 871 samurai died in a single battle on its grasses, it became a haunted moor and the Crimson Demon's new blood marsh.
The place is now a swamp of blood, entrails, and floating bodies. This battlefield has been the final resting place of over 9000 samurai contrary to popular belief. No one dares to enter the blood marsh for the fear of the demon adding their body to the gory moor. The vile tarkatan warrior can often be seen bathing in the blood.
If anyone disturbs him, he will drag them under into the blood and drown them. It is rumored that the demon has a whole village of tarkata in this place. To be honest I am not surprised about this due to it being a well avoided place on the lands. No one has ever come out of there alive or in one piece to tell the tale. To make sure no one can enter anymore the government has placed a small fence around the marsh for the safety of the people. Signs along the fence say "WARNING: HOSTILE CREATURES BEYOND THIS POINT! Keep out or enter at your own risk!"
The crimson demon added a medium fence with 2 lines of barbed wire holding a coil of razor wire. A large security gate at the path leading to the marsh is there and it remains unlocked but closed. To enter all you need to do is press the switch and it will slide open. This fence and gate has signs that say "RESTRICTED AREA: You are welcome to trespass on this land but you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK! The Crimson Demon" The words and his name are written in human blood. He placed freshly eaten samurai carcasses around the fence line to add emphasis to the warning signs.
Note: Although his hordes do come and go from the blood marsh daily, there are always tarkata in the swamp at all times. So don't think it's safe to enter when you see them leave the area. The tarkata maintain their own clan of samurai by the same name too. The large castle complex is known for being surrounded by a moat lined with razor sharp demon steel blades. Frustrated by the number of swimmers and bridge builders, the Crimson Demon placed them in there to better ensure fatalities.
These blades are stained with the blood of countless warriors whose shredded remains are at the bottom of the moat. A river of blood flows along the bottom of the moat where more blades impale the bodies that fell but missed the ones on the sides. At various intervals there are demon head statues that poor constant waterfalls of blood into the moat. Where that blood comes from, no one knows nor wants to know. The halfbreed warriors can sometimes be found at the bottom wading through the blood, feasting on the survivors.
Anyone who dares attempt to invade the main complex has been completed and utterly slaughtered. There is a functioning portal that leads to the Nexus inside the castle walls. Anyone who gains access to the main complex will often find the inside to be disturbing. There are many traps in the complex that are designed to make a bloody mess out of intruder who is unlucky enough to get caught in them. These traps are used for security purposes mostly and remain inactive unless the outer gates are breached or an intruder is detected.
If you become a prisoner of them, they will torture you for information and to draw every last agonized scream and drop of blood from your body. There methods are unspeakably barbaric and grisly to describe. 3 warriors were released from their dungeons which is ultra rare for them to do so. One was a Lion, another a Crab, and the last a Unicorn. All 3 were sent home fully armored and bound with demon steel chains that have 2 inch long razor sharp spikes in the links. They are embedded in their flesh thus making every step very painful.
Once each one returned to their daimyo they described the gruesome tortures that made them spill their guts about every secret their clans had. The sight of the blood encrusted spiked chains piercing their flesh was sickening. When they were removed, they were surprised that they even made it back for when they were undressed, their bodies were flayed alive and their organs were exposed as well as much of their bones too. It appeared that they were flayed with their own swords or weapons.
The daimyo were outraged at the fact that a clan would stoop so low as to treat other samurai in such inhumane manner. They went and complained to the emperor about the Tarkata clan's flagrant disregard for and lack of human rights. But the emperor told them that the Tarkata clan is made of humanoid creatures of the same name. They are not human and thus don't give a f*ck about human rights.
"There is simply nothing you can do about it. My advice is to simply leave them alone because the Crimson Demon is their daimyo. It is useless and stupid to stir a hornet's nest, you will only cause more trouble for yourselves. Besides they probably did not get any new secrets. Most likely they were tortured for that information just to see if it was accurate and even if they did get any new information, it is useless to retaliate. So I say again, let it go, forgive and forget. That is all." that was the emperor's response.
The tarkata are fearless samurai who will charge into battle wearing the most elegant and yet demonic armor from their ancestors. Forced into recognition by the Crimson Demon, they are a vicious and blood thirsty clan. When a battle is about to start, first the new custom is to check for tarkatan warriors nearby. If there are any then the battle is called off. For they will kill anyone just for food.
Several years ago, a great battle between the two clans Lion and Scorpion took place. The place was a glorious field of honor, courage, and blood. The plains were stained with the blood of thousands of brave samurai fighting for their lords. Until they showed up. A small group of tarkatan warriors found its way to the field and called the horde over for they have found fresh meat.
These vile, blood thirsty monsters are drawn to violence and blood. They come to kill and devour the flesh of the human warriors. A single drop of blood draws their attention, then they strip your bones clean before you have time to die. This is what happened on that battlefield. None survived other then the daimyo who managed to escape with only the missing skin from their legs.
It is also rumored that there are other security and defense systems in the marsh too including laser trip wires, electric and laser fences, and surveillance systems too. However none of those rumors have been confirmed.
